Five Minutes After Birth is a meditation on dated but prevalent masculine identities and the disruption and questioning they are increasingly subject to. Presenting masculinity as a performance and a culturally reproduced identity, this work highlights the fragility of Western hegemonic masculinity and poses broader questions on increasingly polarised discourses on the subject of identity.
